a) a link to an interesting site or video on synethsesia.
b) a brief description of whatever is interesting, amazing or thought-provoking about the site you’ve found.
Tell us which ones are worth watching...and why? ( rank it 1-10..."10" being absolutely, "must see." )
Help us figure out which ones to watch, and which ones to skip.

c) a title/musician/composer of a piece of music that YOU respond to strongly. Find a piece that you might be able to "depict" via color and abstract form — a synesthetic interpretation.

Note: YouTube has a LOT of interesting synesthesia content — and since sound and imagery are available, you can often get closer to the synesthetic experience. Find something the rest of us should see…hear…experience! (also, we can quickly load, view & listen in class)

Review Palette Planning:
assign problems 5-12

Nature-Study-to-Palette: extending a palette, and structuring an arbitrary palette.
chart & identify the hues, values and chroma prominent in your source design (e.g. nature's colors)
— extend the charting. See which combinations of h/v/c are missing - the "holes" in the color scheme you have charted.
— extend the scheme to add any hues/values/chromas that might be needed for contrast or other effects.
Simplify. Consider eliminating any hues, values or chromas that overly complicate the scheme. If two or more traits are very close, simplify to a single trait.

— Decide on dominances and subordinates — select general proportion issues for your composition.

Assign: Proportion Studies — 2 sets of six variations (12 total)

Pigments | Color-by-Color |

Select your (complementary) hues Ñ you will create a warm constant hue plate, and a cool constant hue plate.
You can do them as two separate plates, or as one continuous section of the Munsell 3D color model.

Moodle Makeup Quizzes

If you have missed quizzes or would like to try to improve your grade on your quizzes, you can take any or all of these MakeUp Quizzes.
These are voluntary — you do not have to take these MakeUp Quizzes.
Good scores on these quizzes will replace low scores on earlier quizzes...or missed quizzes.  If your existing quiz scores are better than the score you earn on a MakeUp Quiz, then you will keep the better existing quiz score — thus, if you take these MakeUp Quizzes, your overall quiz score will either improve, or, at worst stay the same.

— Each quiz has 10 questions.
— Each quiz will be limited to 15 minutes.
— Each quiz may be taken ONCE  — not the usual 3 attempts.  Thus, its smart to skim over the chapters before beginning these quizzes.
— These quizzes may be completed as late as midnight on Sunday, the day before Final Exams begin.
