The image on the right shows the half of an orange
cut from top to bottom. The core of the orange clearly shows the line
of symetry. All wedge pieces of the orange are aligned around the
core
As we can see frm this cross section, the nine wedge-shaped pieces
are distincly seperated.
From my observation, I wonder why there is usually odd number of
pieces in an orange?
